Daphne odora ‘Aureomarginata’
It’s always good to have scented plants in the garden, especially in winter, and this Daphne (D. odora 'Aureomarginata') is a good choice. The pale-pink, fragrant flowers appear in late winter and waft their scent about on warm, sunny days.

This evergreen shrub forms a compact rounded mound – approximately 1.5m (5ft) x 1.5m (5ft) – with dark-green leaves, lifted by irregular yellow margins. Only prune by lightly trimming the odd wayward stem.
