I am just about to start harvesting my Charlotte potatoes.
I would like to know what the used growing medium can be used for.
Can I use it to grow more potatoes
The original compost was half peat free and plenty of well rotted manure

Hi Ken

I wouldn't advise reusing the compost for more potatoes or any other root/tuber crop as it could lead to infection, disease can lay dormant in it and spring to life with the addition of more seed potatoes/root crops attacking and killing off the plants.
You could use it to grow things like Broad beans which will reinvigorate the compost with nitrogen.
Hope this helps
John
