| 24 forum posts | Can anyone help I'm looking for any plant named 'Linda' for a birthday present - it doesn't have to be a rose, and I need to order it by post.
Many thanks |

| Moderator 30 forum posts 1 photos 21 articles | a quick search on the internet has offered up two possibilities you can order Sweet pea 'Linda' seeds. it is a spencer hybrid with lavender blue flowers on strong stems. for something a little more long lasting what about Rhododendron 'Linda', a compact, evergreen plant growing to only 4-6 ft (1.2-1.5m) with rosy red flowers, but it will need an acid soil, or it could suit a container using ericaceous compost. several nurseries offer this by mail order. Finally I tried geraniums and found one called 'Luscious Linda'. I don't know it myself, but it seems to be hardy, with pink flowers and bronze leaves and it suits a well drained site, maybe a front of border or a container. Again it appears to be available from several nurseries. hope that gives you something to start with. |

Just to say a big thank you for your input to my question about named plants.
I opted for the Sweet Pea (for the birthday present) and also treated myself to some.
Once again - many thanks
