I have always ehjoyed gardening but now have arthritis and find it almost impossible to get my garden into shape.  I like the Landshare idea, but would like a scheme to receive help to get it cleared and ready for planting, but then take it forward myself.  My budget is very limited or I would pay someone to do it for me.  Does anyone have any bright ideas, please?

Hi Judith,
Sorry to hear you're having problems, it must be very frustrating for you. Maybe if you contact your local council they may be able to help you. I know around here they have schemes for elderly , disabled  & various other groups of people to get help at low cost from a 'Helping Hands' scheme where odd jobs, maintenance, gardening etc. can be arranged or if there are any colleges in your area running gardening/agricultural courses their students might be willing to help out. Hope you get something sorted out & enjoy your garden, there are lots of tools with soft grips, long/angled handles etc. which may help & raised beds are a good idea if you have trouble bending.
