| 1 forum posts | I have always ehjoyed gardening but now have arthritis and find it almost impossible to get my garden into shape. I like the Landshare idea, but would like a scheme to receive help to get it cleared and ready for planting, but then take it forward myself. My budget is very limited or I would pay someone to do it for me. Does anyone have any bright ideas, please? |

Sorry to hear you're having problems, it must be very frustrating for you. Maybe if you contact your local council they may be able to help you. I know around here they have schemes for elderly , disabled & various other groups of people to get help at low cost from a 'Helping Hands' scheme where odd jobs, maintenance, gardening etc. can be arranged or if there are any colleges in your area running gardening/agricultural courses their students might be willing to help out. Hope you get something sorted out & enjoy your garden, there are lots of tools with soft grips, long/angled handles etc. which may help & raised beds are a good idea if you have trouble bending. |
